There are some programs that you really like and you don’t want to loose them, just because you changed over to Linux. There are people that actually agree with you, but alas not everything is possible, but wineHQ try very hard to let you continue using your favourite software.
There is a very large database of all the software that they have tested, but if you can not find your favourite soft, you can always send it to them and in time they will test it for you and give the qualified opinion.
