When ever possible, I talk about Linux to friends and people who could be interested in it, I tell them about the limitations that they have because of the O/S that they use now.
Some times they ask me if their computer is compatible, I then take out my Ubuntu Linux USB stick, pop it in, adjust their bios and boot into Linux on there machine or laptop, but sometimes, I find that it doesn’t work. This more than likely my lake of knowledge.
So I then go and do some searches on the net to find out if it’s possible to load Linux on that machine.
This is a list of computers that I have to test to find out if Linux is compatible or not.
